ॐ असतो मा सद्गमय ।
तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय ।
मृत्योर्मा अमृतं गमय ।

Om Asato Maa Sad-Gamaya |
Tamaso Maa Jyotir-Gamaya |
Mrtyor-Maa Amrtam Gamaya |

असतो (Asato): Unreal, मा (Ma): Not, सद्गमय (Sad-Gamaya): Lead me towards Reality.
तमसो (Tamaso):Darkness,मा (Ma): Not, ज्योतिर्गमय (Jyotir-Gamaya):Lead me towards the light.
मृत्योर्मा (Mrtyor-Maa):From fear of Death, अमृतं (Amrtam): Immortality, गमय (Gamaya): Lead me towards.
शान्तिः (Shaantih): Peace.

The Meaning

Om, (O Lord) Keep me not in Unreality, but lead me towards the Reality.
Keep me not in the Darkness, but lead me towards the Light.
Keep me not in the (Fear of) Death, but lead me towards Immortality.
